When Alpina releases a new machine, you can bet it’s something innovative and never imagined before. The new F-250 xc-ski trail implement is an all-in-one tool for grooming professional Nordic ski trails, designed as a specific attachment for the snowmobile series Sherpa and Superclass. F-250 is full electric and is powered by the Sherpa / Superclass electric system. The epoxy-coated steel frame includes a first grooming stage with 3 rows of adjustable cutting blades, plus a second compacting and finishing stage with an overall width of 250 cm / 98”. The rear part of the frame incorporates a rail system where the track-maker is attached and can easily shift from left to right.
Three configurations available: with 1 track-setter, with 2 track-setters or without track-setter (mod. D-250) for small ski slopes and trails for sled-dog / pedestrians / snowmobiles / fat-bikes etc. The 2 track-setter version includes ballast bags to improve the compaction effect. With the F-250 you can easily set and maintain a Nordic ski trail network and:
- groom in every condition, from fresh deep snow to hard packed snow
- groom and set tracks even in a very low snow, typical of these years
- easily set classic-tracks following the “ideal-line”, no ripped tracks in the curves
- refresh quickly the trails after a snowfall, or just before a ski race, giving racers always top snow conditions

- Lightweight and compact construction;
- Epoxy powder coating over an anti-oxydation pre-coating prevents ice and snow building up;
- Full electric operation (no more hydraulic devices and connected service);
- Skating-lane renovator with spring-mounted knives electric controlled for fine raising / lowering;
- 2,5 meters skating-lane finisher, with urethane flexible combs;
- Classic track-setter with gas-spring pre-load and electric controls for easy raising / lowering;
- Track-shoes with progressive compacting profile;
- Available also with 2 classic track-setters (1.200 mm. center-to-center distance max.);
- Track-setters arms can be shifted to set tracks from left to right on the trail;
- Control keyboard for installation on the snowmobile-dashboard with the reliable Can-bus technology;
- Control keyboard can activate up to 4 auxiliary devices (work-lights, stroboscopic beacon, etc.).
