    We are thrilled to showcase a unique application of our technology: the Towmobile. Developed by Domenic Lacaria of STAR Towing (Snowmobile Towing Assistance and Recovery), this specialized machine is built on a “stripped down” Alpina Sherpa platform.
    Lacaria chose the Sherpa for its legendary dual-track design, providing the stability and traction needed to handle heavy recovery loads that would stop any other sled.
    Key Capabilities of the Towmobile:
    • Specialized Design: A reinforced frame and high-torque capability for deep-snow rescues.
    • Full Recovery Services: From uprighting rolled vehicles to fuel delivery and battery boosts.
    • Advanced Equipment: Features a custom hydraulic rotating crane and multiple winches to recover sleds even from steep cliffs.
    • Trail Safety: Essential for accident clean-up, ensuring trails remain safe for all riders.

    This incredible conversion is the ultimate proof of the Sherpa’s versatility: a platform so rugged it can handle the toughest recovery missions where others simply can’t go. We are proud to see Alpina at the heart of such essential trail safety operations.
