You see WHAT WORKS and what does not

    see WHAT WORKS

In fresh snow everything is good, but when it comes to set a trail for nordic skiing in ICY SNOW conditions, then you see WHAT WORKS and what does not.
This snow is the result of a DAILY MELTING AND FREEZING process, and is very hard: quite usual in the last times.
Look at the snowmobile’s ski and tracks: they cannot even sink half an inch in the snow because it is so hard.
Then look at the F-250 snowgroomer, how it can grind the old snow and accumulate a soft snow pile in front of its knives.
For this you need pulling power, a LOT OF POWER, that’s why an Alpina snowmobile can do the job.
